2009 Michigan State Men’s Lacrosse Season Outlook

New Coach and New Expectations

East Lansing, MI. – At the end of last season the Spartans were left with a tough loss to rival Michigan in the CCLA Championship and the job of finding a new head coach.

Now, as the 2009 season approaches, Michigan State has a new attitude and two new coaches. At a glance, the men’s lacrosse team returns a number of its core players and looks poised to compete with the MCLA’s top teams. With a schedule that includes five top 20 opponents, including BYU and Colorado, the Spartans have something to prove to the MCLA this spring.
